Facility

Hamlet Tennis Club has the most desirable tennis courts of any swim & tennis club in Northern Virginia!  Of the five tennis courts, three are hard surface courts with a hitting wall, wind screens and court dividers. The remaining two courts are hydroblend surface in amazing condition benefitting from shade for most of the day. These "soft” clay courts are considered the best you can get, and are typically only found at luxury private clubs. There is a large shaded gazebo next to the courts.

The clubhouse features restrooms and showers, a family restroom, a snack bar, and an upper level meeting and game room with table tennis, foosball and air hockey tables. The club also offers a full eight lane 25 meter pool with an additional 12 feet deep diving well and a separate gated baby pool for children younger than 7. The pool deck has multiple tables and lounge chairs for guests.  Grills are available for use.

Membership

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE HAMLET SWIM AND TENNIS CLUB TO ENROLL AND PARTICIPATE IN THE TENNIS PROGRAMS.  However, members do receive a special price on all our camps and programs.  You do need to be a member to use the pool.

There are family memberships still available for the 2018 season but they are going fast.  Stop in and talk to Alexis if you'd like a tour and more information.  Membership costs are detailed here.

Tennis Court Care and Rules

Proper attire and shoes are required.  We ask all members to wear athletic attire and tennis shoes on the courts at all times. While playing on the Hydroblend courts, it is required that you wear tennis shoes.  Running shoes, in particular, damage the courts.

The Hamlet Swim and Tennis Club rules expressly state that outside instructors not certified by Tennis Central are not allowed to provide lessons on the Hamlet courts.  We have worked hard to design a clinic line-up for kids and adults to meet the needs of the members and welcome any comments or suggestions from the community on how we can continue to improve.
